Most Sunday mornings, the young people join with the Fellowship for the first part of the service. Just prior to the sermon they leave for their classes, where they are taught by dedicated church members.
We run a creche and a sunday school during the sunday service.
For children who have not yet started school, we aim to introduce God and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, through the reading and telling of Bible stories, singing and listening to Christian-based songs. Parents can leave their children with church members in the creche room or, if they wish, sit with their children during these sessions.
For children who have started school, and are aged up to and including year 6, we aim to teach the Gospel, tell Bible stories and help the children to develop a deeper understanding of what it means to have faith in Jesus. During the class they can pray, take part in arts and crafts, share stories with one another and play games.
As part of our commitment to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults, we have a safeguarding policy which can be accessed by clicking on the box below.
The Fellowship complies with all DBS requirements in relation to the children's work that is carried out.
