Welcome to the Great Harwood Christian Fellowship!
We are an independent church deeply rooted in Reformed Baptist values and doctrines, faithfully adhering to the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith. Our foundation is firmly built upon the 5 Solas of the Reformation: sola scriptura (Scripture alone), solus Christus (Christ alone), sola fide (faith alone), sola gratia (grace alone), and soli Deo gloria (glory to God alone), reflecting our unwavering commitment to the authority and sufficiency of God's Word.
In a world where many assert that truth is subjective and personal, we at Great Harwood Christian Fellowship stand firm in the belief that there is only one absolute truth - the Bible. We embrace the teachings of the Bible, upholding the truth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who humbly came to dwell among us (John 1:14). He is the ONLY name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
At the heart of our fellowship is a warm, loving, and welcoming spirit that embodies the love of Jesus Christ. We open our doors to everyone, extending Christ's love to all who come through our doors. As the Church of Christ, we are dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Christ with the world.
Our vision is to be a beacon of light in our community - visible, prayerful, and service-oriented. We aim to be a church that not only prays for our community but actively serves it, demonstrating the love of Christ in tangible ways.
We cherish our close-knit church family, united by a shared desire to serve our God and obey Christ's commands. Join us as we journey together in faith, growing in love, and reaching out to our community with the hope and truth of the Gospel.
Welcome to our family at Great Harwood Christian Fellowship. We look forward to walking with you in faith and fellowship.

The 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith is a Reformed confession of faith written by English Baptists. The Act of Toleration passed by the Parliament of England in the same year had enabled other churches to exist alongside the established churches in England and Scotland. Over 100 Particular Baptist churches gathered in London from 3rd to 12th September 1689 to discuss and endorse a Confession that had first been published in 1677.
It sets out details of Christian faith and worship which remain relevant today.
